RETAIL AND RESTAURANTS AT SUN CITY GRAND, SURPRISE AZ.

Posted by Jeff Lichter on August 16th, 2008

Retail Strip Center at Sun City GrandBeing a colossal active adult community of approximately 10,000 homes, Sun City Grand also contains some commericial property
within the community itself. For instance, it offers both Dillons Grand and JB’s restaurants, both Wells Fargo and Chase Bank branches, and a retail strip with tenants such as CVS Pharmacy, Ed Jones Financial, Ken Meade Realty and others. Anchor grocery stores such as Fry’s, Safeway, and Albertson’s are located just outside of the front and rear entrances.

For the complete picture of what the great life here at SCG is like, take a look at www.grandinfo.com. $1 per gallon gasoline? what, is it a joke?

Posted by JACK KONOPSKI on August 14th, 2008

Since I became a citizen of one of the greatest country on this planet the USA I have made a lot friends from all sorts of line of life. Recently, I have heard their comments almost as in form of a question. Jack, why is it , they say, that it is the foreigner, that is more like to achieve, if not conquer the American Dream.
Tell me if you agree or disagree with. Either way it would be educational for all of us.
Fiscally, there two types of citizens. First- informed and the second -uniformed. This is in reference to the IRS publications. Which one are you?. According to some financial magazine there were $160 million in unclaimed tax refunds in 2007 alone. I know. ” I have my accountant”. So you should . Next time when you see her/him ask, why do you pay $4 per gallon for gasoline if there are others who pay $1 per gallon. I DO.
There are 101 questions like this. do you want to be informed or uniformed. I am not a tax adviser nor would I ever advise you on your taxes. I am just an informed citizen, who if asked would share some good staff with you. Don’t be trying to be a foreigner. Stay were you are. You don’t know how good you have. Want to know more?? .Trace me. Find me. Call me. Email me, or just share your thought about it with us.

Brian Tracy Quote

Posted by TalentBankRelocation on July 30th, 2008

The Four P’s of Persuasion
By: Brian Tracy

Perception Is Everything
There are four “Ps” that will enhance your ability to persuade others in both your work and personal life. They are power, positioning, performance, and politeness. And they are all based on perception.

Develop Personal Power
The first “P” is power. The more power and influence that a person perceives that you have, whether real or not, the more likely it is that that person will be persuaded by you to do the things you want them to do. For example, if you appear to be a senior executive, or a wealthy person, people will be much more likely to help you and serve you than they would be if you were perceived to be a lower level employee.

Shape Their Thinking About You
The second “P” is positioning. This refers to the way that other people think about you and talk about you when you are not there. Your positioning in the mind and heart of other people largely determines how open they are to being influenced by you.

In everything you do involving other people, you are shaping and influencing their perceptions of you and your positioning in their minds. Think about how you could change the things you say and do so that people think about you in such a way that they are more open to your requests and to helping you achieve your goals.
Be Good At What You Do
The third “P” is performance. This refers to your level of competence and expertise in your area. A person who is highly respected for his or her ability to get results is far more persuasive and influential than a person who only does an average job.

Commit to Excellence
The perception that people have of your performance capabilities exerts an inordinate influence on how they think and feel about you. You should commit yourself to being the very best in your field. Sometimes, a reputation for being excellent at what you do can be so powerful that it alone can make you an extremely persuasive individual in all of your interactions with the people around you. They will accept your advice, be open to your influence and agree with your requests.

Treat People Politely
The fourth “P” of persuasion power is politeness. People do things for two reasons, because they want to and because they have to. When you treat people with kindness, courtesy and respect, you make them want to do things for you. They are motivated to go out of their way to help you solve your problems and accomplish your goals.

Being nice to other people satisfies one of the deepest of all subconscious needs, the need to feel important and respected. Whenever you convey this to another person in your conversation, your attitude and your treatment of that person, he or she will be wide open to being persuaded and influenced by you in almost anything you need.

Perception Is Reality
Again, perception is everything. The perception of an individual is his or her reality. People act on the basis of their perceptions of you. If you change their perceptions, you change the way they think and feel about you, and you change the things that they will do for you.

Action Exercises
Here are two things you can do immediately to put these ideas into action:

First, think continually about the impression you want to make on others and then make sure that everything you do or say is consistent with that perception.

Second, be nice to people. Practice the Golden Rule in your interactions with others. Always be polite and make others feel important.

The more people like you, the more open they are to being influenced by you.

Fun in the sun in the valley of the Sun

Posted by TalentBankRelocation on June 15th, 2008

Just 110 miles north of Phoenix, Arizona, Sedona has become a central resting stop for visitors of Northern Arizona who wish to explore the scenic Verde River, the 1.8 million-acre Coconino National Forest, or the winding road through Oak Creek Canyon. There are a nearly infinite number of things to do in Sedona Relax atop shaded boulders that dot the 16-mile gorge of Oak Creek Canyon, take a rugged Jeep tour or helicopter tour deep into Sedona’s authentic Indian ruins or scale a red rock monolith that penetrates the crystal blue sky.

On the other hand, some Sedona visitors choose to do very little at all…like sitting back and marveling at the reflection of the sun at dusk that seems to make the Red Rocks appear an even richer and more vibrant hue, as if they glowed from within. There is a strong belief that this place is home to several Sedona vortexes - specific focal points of the earth’s energy - and they travel many miles just to feel the renewal of energy in their own life. Whatever the case, Sedona has a way of taking your breath away and reminding us that there aren’t many places on earth quite as spectacular as Sedona. In fact, Sedona, Arizona was named “The Most Beautiful Place in America” in USA Weekend’s Annual Travel Report. More information about Sedona and other sites to visit in Arizona can be found on their official site http://www.sedona.net/ and http://www.arizonaguide.com/ which will also provide you with a great vistors guide about Arizona and it’s grand features.

Friday the 13th

Posted by TalentBankRelocation on June 13th, 2008

Be carful today

Friday 13th is unlucky for some. The risk of hospital admission as a result of a transport accident may be increased by as much as 52 percent. Staying at home is recommended.

Phoenix Golf Information

Posted by TalentBankRelocation on June 13th, 2008

Golf
DESTINATION GUIDES
Valley of the Sun: Golf Capital of the American Southwest
The Valley of the Sun — made up of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and a slew of other rapidly growing cities — is the golf capital of the American Southwest. With close to 200 courses, the Valley can make a legitimate claim to being the most golf-rich region in the United States. Each year millions of golfers from sun-starved winter climates make their way to this sun-splashed golfing pantheon to test their mettle on desert courses that yield more lost balls than birdies.

Scottsdale is at the epicenter of the Valley’s golf map, and traveling golfers will be delighted to find one of the most impressive arrays of high-end daily fee and resort courses in the world. Troon North, Grayhawk, Wildfire, Kierland and the Boulders provide championship golf and luxury accommodations, while properties like We-Ko-Pa, Sun Ridge Canyon and Eagle Mountain stand alone as must-play courses.

To the south and west, Phoenix is home to some of Arizona’s most venerable, traditional resorts, including the Camelback Inn and the Arizona Biltmore. Golfers on a budget will also find a solid (and surprisingly challenging) lineup of municipal tracks. The Aguila Golf Course in south Phoenix is designed by renowned Arizona architect Gary Panks, and Superstition Springs Golf Club (Mesa) is popular with the locals.

The West Valley, including the cities of Glendale, Peoria and Goodyear, is home to an admirable collection of quality layouts that don’t receive nearly the press as their eastern cousins. Notable designers include Jack Nicklaus II (Estrella Mountain Ranch), Hale Irwin (Palm Valley) and Robert Trent Jones Sr. (Wigwam Resort) and Jr. (Dove Valley Ranch). Golfers still can find a round for under $50 in the West Valley, even in the peak winter season.

The East Valley also serves up some quality golf on the cheap, albeit slightly more publicized. In terms of population, the city of Mesa has quietly crept up to the 43rd largest city in America at 400,000 strong, and Chandler isn’t far behind. Facilities like Ocotillo, Las Sendas and Gold Canyon have put upscale golf on the East Valley map to stay.

Scottsdale, Phoenix, East Valley and West — whatever your druthers, an amazing golf adventure awaits. A little suntan lotion, a good golf cap and an appreciation for incredible golf course architecture are all you need to have a memorable golf vacation it out in the desert.
